He was an English painter that is considered the first modern painter ever!

Because he liked to paint in the exterior! That was really odd in his time, because when he was alive painters use to paint in their studios or ateliers, not outside. He traveled a lot, so he got to see a lot of landscapes and cool places.

Also, he liked studying and painting the light in every way he saw posible! He loved to use a lot of colors to do this.
